What will you contribute to the team?

As part of your role, you will report to the Director, Contract Management, Classic Accounts, Business Aircraft, and oversee all activities related to the purchase of new aircraft contracts until contract closure. More specifically, you will assume the following tasks:

  • Contribute to achieving aircraft delivery goals by providing continuous commercial and legal support to internal and external clients;
  • Support contract payment goals and manage deliverables according to contractual payment schedules, including billing clients in accordance with these and appropriate follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of funds;
  • Lead negotiations and draft contractual documents, including amendments, contract assignment acts, entirety agreements, letter agreements, and service contracts.
  • Drive business results by identifying risks and, in conjunction with internal stakeholders, implementing creative and effective risk mitigation plans to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
  • Quickly raise unresolved contractual risks to management.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, which includes the Contracts and Legal Services teams, Sales, Finance, Tax, Risk Management, Program Management, and Customer Account Management to ensure strict adherence to company contracts and policies, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Serve as a key resource for the company and internal parties on complex and critical issues related to the interpretation, analysis, and execution of the aircraft purchase contract and under it;
  • Prepare correspondence with clients in accordance with the aircraft purchase contract and ensure appropriate follow-ups.
  • Participate in client meetings and program reviews as needed.
  • Contribute to governance and process improvement activities related to the service functions.
  • The position may occasionally require travel and overtime during peak periods.

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in law, business, or business administration, or equivalent.
  • You have a keen sense of business combined with at least five (5) years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, or contract management.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and can defend a point with confidence and diplomacy.
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • You demonstrate initiative, make sound decisions, and are meticulous.
  • You show strong analytical and leadership skills and have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on results, and are capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities.
  • You are proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce.com application is an asset.
  • You are bilingual (French and English). Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset.
