Description of the Ministry or Organization
- General Information
The position is to be filled at the Direction of the Organization of Travel and Financial Services.
Possibility of telecommuting up to a maximum of 2 days per week.
Daily Tasks
The incumbent performs financial activities and ensures the smooth operation of the service's daily operations. They closely support the management, monitor process quality, and act as a resource for the team. They prepare various documents, conduct essential follow-ups, and respond to client inquiries.
Support to Management
- Respond to financial activity-related requests.
- Document, validate, and synthesize information to facilitate decision-making.
- Perform necessary follow-ups to meet deadlines.
- Assist management at financial meetings and ensure required connections.
- Gather material resource needs and analyze budget possibilities.
- Verify financial data compliance and produce reports and statements.
- Analyze information system data to support activity management.
- Contribute to financial reporting and annual planning.
- Support team members with financial questions.
- Participate in welcoming and integrating new staff.
Accounting Operations Management
- Compile financial data.
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual accounting.
- Collaborate on the Financial Services Quality Assurance Program (PAQSF).
- Verify invoices and process payments.
- Verify issued checks.
- Prepare disbursement replenishment requests.
Contribution to Financial Services Functioning
- Participate in task distribution and act as a resource for complex files.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new administrative procedures.
- Salary Scale: From $47,064 to $67,354*
- The $67,354 salary refers to a 102% increase in the salary of an employee who has spent one (1) year at the last step of their employment class and achieved a satisfactory performance rating in their last annual evaluation.
These amounts do not include the 0.11% adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This adjustment will be made later, retroactively as of March 31, 2026.

Desired Profile and Application Procedures
Essentials
- Hold a technical college diploma in administration or any other relevant technical college diploma or relevant study certificate whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
A person may also submit their application if they are in the process of completing the final year of studies required to obtain the required diploma.
Each missing year of education can be compensated by one year of relevant education at the same or higher level as required. The required diploma can also be compensated by a non-relevant college diploma combined with one year of relevant post-secondary education that is not part of the non-relevant college diploma.
For consideration, any education completed outside of Canada must be subject to a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration.
- Possess Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority allowing work within our organization.
A person pending the proof of their permanent resident status or a work permit allowing work within our organization may submit their application to this selection process. However, they must be authorized to work legally in Canada at the time of their appointment.
- Have appropriate French language skills for the position.
- Hiring is conditional upon the results of a security check.
