As a construction site supervisor, you will contribute to ensuring that the work done on-site complies with the plans and estimates issued by our professionals. You will be the eyes of the team on the renovation and parking lot construction sites, documenting progress, identifying technical discrepancies, and collaborating directly with contractors to ensure the quality of interventions.

Depatie Beauchemin is a Quebec-based firm composed of professional engineers and technologists specializing in civil engineering. We support condominium boards across Quebec by offering rigorous technical services (inspections, expertise, plans and estimates, project management), human, and adapted to the reality of their buildings.
Work Mode
On-site at our Quebec office.

Your Responsibilities
- Monitor the compliance of work with the plans and estimates issued by the firm;
- Conduct regular site visits, as defined in the surveillance mandate, to observe work progress and record findings in reports;
- Write detailed surveillance reports outlining observations, work done, discrepancies noted, and recommendations;
- Verify the materials used on-site and their compliance with the specifications in the estimates (waterproofing products, coating systems, reinforcing steel, concrete, etc.);
- Collaborate on issuing compliance notices at the end of work and identifying deficiencies for provisional acceptance.
Prerequisites
- Hold a DEC in architecture, civil engineering, construction, or a related field;
- Experience in construction site surveillance;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Good written and spoken French;
- Hold a valid driver's license and have a car.
Assets
- Knowledge or interest in our areas of activity (civil engineering, applied technologies); otherwise, these concepts can be acquired quickly.
- Good knowledge of the National Building Code;
- Experience in facade or underground parking inspection.
