Overview

Join the Supply Chain / Materials Management team at AtkinsRéalis Canada and contribute to the success of major projects in the infrastructure, industry, energy, and transportation sectors. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing materials and optimizing the supply chain to ensure project deadlines are met and projects succeed.

Your Role

  • Manage and track standard materials to ensure they are delivered according to project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project management, project control, engineering, construction, receiving, and supplier teams.
  • Coordinate activities with receiving and warehousing teams to ensure delivery and documentation compliance.
  • Manage returns, shortages, damages, and material discrepancies as required.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary meetings and prepare procurement tracking reports.
  • Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, inspections, and deliveries to prevent delays.
  • Track critical material milestones and maintain data accuracy in materials management systems.
  • Support logistics activities related to transportation and delivery coordination to project sites.
  • Identify critical material risks and contribute to mitigation plan development.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of procurement tracking, materials management, and reporting processes.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in procurement tracking, procurement, materials management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of industrial, energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction project environments.
  • Experience in EPC, EPCM, IAGC, or other collaborative project delivery models.
  • Proficiency in ERP and materials management systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of purchase order management, supplier tracking, receiving, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Capability to analyze complex situations, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in both French and English*.
  • Availability to travel to an industrial site located in Quebec.
  • Valid driver's license considered an asset.
  • Project Conditions:
  • The position is associated with a major industrial project located in Quebec.
  • Travel to the job site will be required to ensure close collaboration with project teams.
  • The site is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Montreal.
  • A valid driver's license is an asset.
  • This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, such as English, as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional leadership team.
