Join the Supply Chain/Material Management team at AtkinsRéalis Canada and contribute to the success of major projects in the infrastructure, industrial, energy, and transportation sectors. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing materials and optimizing the supply chain to ensure project deadlines are met and projects succeed.

Your Role

• Manage and track standard materials to ensure timely delivery in accordance with project schedules.
• Collaborate with project management, project control, engineering, construction, receiving, and supplier teams.
• Coordinate activities with receiving and warehousing teams to ensure delivery and documentation compliance.
• Manage returns, shortages, damages, and material discrepancies as required.
• Lead multidisciplinary meetings and prepare supply chain tracking reports.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, inspections, and deliveries to prevent delays.
• Track critical material milestones and maintain accurate data in material management systems.
• Support logistics activities related to transportation and delivery coordination to project sites.
• Identify critical material risks and contribute to mitigation plan development.
• Participate in continuous improvement of supply chain tracking, material management, and reporting processes.

About You

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in supply chain tracking, procurement, material management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of industrial, energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction project environments.
• Experience in EPC, EPCM, IAGC, or other collaborative project delivery models.
• Proficiency in ERP and material management systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of purchase order management, supplier tracking, receiving, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Availability to travel to an industrial site in Quebec.
• Valid driver's license considered an asset.

Project Conditions

• The position is associated with a major industrial project in Quebec.
• Travel to the site will be required to collaborate closely with project teams.
• The site is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Montreal.
• A valid driver's license is an asset.
• Knowledge of a language other than French, such as English, is required as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional leadership team.

Overview

The mission of AtkinsRéalis Canada's Supply Chain/Material Management team is to provide expertise in material management and expediting for major projects in Canada to ensure the timely procurement, delivery, and availability of materials required to support major infrastructure, industrial, energy, and transportation projects across Canada.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Specialist – Team Lead, the Expeditor is responsible for managing and expediting standard materials to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with project schedules and established supply chain procedures. The role serves as a key liaison between project stakeholders, suppliers, receiving teams, and construction personnel to maintain material visibility and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Your Role

• Manage and expedite standard materials in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
• Collaborate and interface with key stakeholders across internal and external teams, including project management, project controls, engineering, shipping/receiving, construction management, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Receiving and Warehouse teams to ensure all materials are delivered with proper documentation and manage returns, shortages, damages, or discrepancies as required.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and prepare expediting reports for key stakeholders, providing timely updates on material status, critical shipments, and associated supply chain risks.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, inspections, and deliveries to proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
• Track critical material milestones and maintain accurate information within supply chain and material management systems.
• Support logistics activities related to transportation, delivery coordination, and material movement from supplier facilities to project sites.
• Escalate critical material risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with project teams and suppliers.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices in expediting, material management, and reporting processes.

About You

• 3 - 8 years of experience in expediting, procurement, material management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supporting large capital projects in industrial, energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction environments is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in EPC, EPCM, IAGC, or other collaborative project delivery environments.
• Experience working with ERP/Material Management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of purchase order management, supplier follow-up, material tracking, receiving, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
• Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of organization with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
