Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate obtaining quotes and organize shipments using transportation platforms and an established network of carriers and logistics providers
  • Schedule delivery and pickup appointments or provide clear instructions and contact information to carriers to ensure smooth coordination
  • Perform daily tracking and tracing activities by proactively monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and manage real-time delays
  • Troubleshoot and resolve transportation issues including missing documentation, shipment delays, and communication challenges
  • Ensure all operations follow established standardized operational procedures to maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Prepare and share timely shipment updates and performance summaries with management
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners by providing timely updates and resolving operational issues
  • Stay current on transportation regulations and industry best practices
  • Use NetSuite WMS and Microsoft Excel for order management, tracking, reporting, and data analysis
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with projects assigned by management
  • Required Education, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in logistics or supply chain management is an asset
  • Experience in logistics transportation or supply chain coordination, preferably with LTL shipments and large retail accounts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis
  • Experience with NetSuite Oracle and WMS systems is preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills; must meet attendance requirements with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
