Description
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Coordinate obtaining quotes and organize shipments using transportation platforms and an established network of carriers and logistics providers
- Schedule delivery and pickup appointments or provide clear instructions and contact information to carriers to ensure smooth coordination
- Perform daily tracking and tracing activities by proactively monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and manage real-time delays
- Troubleshoot and resolve transportation issues including missing documentation, shipment delays, and communication challenges
- Ensure all operations follow established standardized operational procedures to maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency
- Prepare and share timely shipment updates and performance summaries with management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners by providing timely updates and resolving operational issues
- Stay current on transportation regulations and industry best practices
- Use NetSuite WMS and Microsoft Excel for order management, tracking, reporting, and data analysis
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with projects assigned by management
- Required Education, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in logistics or supply chain management is an asset
- Experience in logistics transportation or supply chain coordination, preferably with LTL shipments and large retail accounts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis
- Experience with NetSuite Oracle and WMS systems is preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills; must meet attendance requirements with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
