Your role

Under the supervision of the customer service manager, you will be responsible for providing a personalized and high-quality customer service. You will actively contribute to various sales initiatives for shows, prioritizing renewals, fundraising campaigns, and increasing existing customer base.

Your main responsibilities

  • Complete phone orders, validate, and process online reservations
  • Provide customer service to subscribers and donors
  • Collect and update customer information in client files
  • Sell subscriptions, individual tickets, and donations at the counter, by phone, by email, and through the website (Ticketmaster)
  • Participate in the telemarketing campaign
  • Inform customers about the benefits of subscriptions, upgrade opportunities, and the fundraising campaign (donations)
  • Respond to customer inquiries via the website's chat boxes
  • Actively participate in activities for subscribers and donors during in-room and off-room performances
  • Operate the press table during show evenings, if needed
  • Send out subscriptions by mail
  • Participate in various events of the Opera de Montréal

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Relevant experience in sales or customer service
  • Bilingualism (French and English) in writing and speaking
  • Good proficiency in the Office suite
  • Familiarity with computer systems (knowledge of Archtics is an asset)
  • Strong interest in the arts and culture
