In this role you will
- Design, iterate, and optimize features across every part of the game — gameplay, 3C (character, camera, controls), core systems, progression, and economy into a cohesive and accessible whole.
- Author clear design specifications and documentation for the features and systems you own, in support of the game's design & creative direction.
- Build and tune data structures and game systems, balancing them throughout the game's live service lifecycle.
- Create and maintain simulation tools for balancing, tuning, and adapting the game's variables and playable characters.
- Balance gameplay and systems based on internal and player feedback.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience with 2+ years as a systems designer in the video game industry.
- Keep abreast of current trends in gameplay and game systems with a strong interest in competitive team games and best practices for games as a service.
- Proficient with Unity
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel simulations and predictive calculations (analytical competencies and data modeling) and comfortable sifting through data and come to meaningful conclusions.
- Able to communicate knowledge and ideas (flowcharts, feature specs, data reports, etc.) to team members.
In this role you will

What we're looking for
- A versatile mobile game designer, having worked in small and medium teams;
- Passion for mobile games and excellent understanding of the domain;
- A generalist with experience, able to easily switch between controls and systems;
- Good understanding of fundamental design concepts in several disciplines and ability to propose improvements to our game;
- Ability to take ownership of your own features or master those assigned to you, and possess the production knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to support other disciplines within your Scrum team;
- Unity specialist.
