General Helper

IAI, founded in 1947, specializes in the production of high-quality stainless steel process and handling technologies.

Under the supervision of the foreman, the incumbent will perform specifically chosen tasks aimed at reducing the workload of partners and departments.

Tasks

• Perform grinding, drilling, chamfering, and sweeping tasks;
• Rebuild abrasive wheels;
• Handle and transport various equipment and heavy pieces using a bridge crane or forklift;
• Perform packaging tasks;
• Carry out various handling, packaging, and general cleaning tasks in the factory;
• Assist welders by maintaining argon purging during welding tasks;
• Protect stainless steel surfaces to avoid unnecessary repairs;
• Monitor confined spaces when required;
• Perform general cleaning of the factory, workstations, and production floors;
• Empty recovery bins, stainless steel bins, and trash cans;
• Maintain cleaning equipment;
• Follow cleaning schedules while adapting to operational needs;
• Perform building maintenance tasks, both inside and outside;
• Participate in snow removal when needed;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Follow health and safety regulations at work;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a production environment;
• Ability to handle loads weighing more than 20 kg;
• French, spoken and written.
