Production Journeyman

BlendTech Polymers Inc, located in Farnham, Quebec, in Eastern Townships, operates a PVC powder production plant. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Production Journeyman as follows:

• Prepare and set up work areas according to the daily planning;
• Feed and maintain production machines;
• Clean work areas;
• Operate a forklift.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Regular, full-time position with a standard of 40 hours per week, evening shift (5 PM to 3 AM on 4 days from Monday to Thursday) (Day shift training 7 AM to 5 PM)
• An evening shift premium is applied to the wage.
• Must be available to work flexible hours as needed;
• Will be paid for overtime hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic math and communication skills;
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment would be an asset;
• Self-sufficient;
• Bilingual.

Salary will be determined based on knowledge and experience.

Compensation: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
