Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our Granby and Bromont locations. The selected candidate will assist the store manager in their responsibilities, aiming to increase sales and optimize store profits.

They will ensure the smooth running of store activities while fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment for the team.

Summary of Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the store manager:
• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise all store activities and operations in collaboration with department managers and supervisory staff;
• Be responsible for cash accounting and proper maintenance of store documents;
• Be responsible for establishing employee schedules;
• Work closely with the store manager to train employees, supervise departments, assign tasks, encourage, and guide staff;
• Ensure that all cost changes are integrated in a timely manner at each stage of store operations;
• Manage purchases, inventories, price lists, and marketing;
• Manage loss prevention (wastage, theft, inventory loss, breakage).
• Other related tasks.

Required Skills

• Relevant experience in management (2 to 4 years), ideally in a food/retail environment or related field;
• Results-oriented personality and analytical mindset;
• Ability to manage priorities;
• Experience in budget and cost management;
• Customer-oriented personality;
• Excellent communication, management, and coaching skills.
