AS A PLAYER, A TEAM PLAYER
Contribute to the shine of the Olympic Park Tower!
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on activities related to the marketing of the Olympic Park Tower's products according to needs, customer expectations in the international and national tourism sector, as well as group audiences. You will also be responsible for participating in the development of the sales and marketing strategy for new projects concerning tourist spaces and the event hall.
You will ensure the quality and efficiency of the tourist services offered while maintaining close collaboration with different clients and partners to ensure a satisfying and performing customer experience for the Tower's audiences.
Additionally, you will participate in the representation of the Olympic Park regarding tourism conferences and congresses and may participate, within the scope of your functions, in the process of renting the different event spaces of the Tower for different group audiences. More specifically, you will be responsible for coordinating group reservations according to availability and capacity parameters and coordinating with internal stakeholders regarding the follow-up of agreements with partners and billing, for example. You will participate in the various work committees related to your functions and make recommendations, if necessary, to improve operations, offered services, products, etc.
The reopening of the Olympic Park Tower, after several years of closure for major modernization work, represents a significant milestone and a mobilizing project for the entire team. Concretely, during the year of preparation for public opening and thereafter during the year of public opening, each team member, beyond the tasks specific to their role, will be called upon to actively contribute to the organization of the reopening, in a spirit of collaboration and mutual aid. This period of adjustment, which will span several months, requires people who are passionate about on-site operations, who demonstrate initiative, who enjoy versatile teamwork, and who are enthusiastic about participating, from the very beginning, in this great evolving project.

YOUR PLAYING FIELD
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the execution and delivery of tourist products and services to the Tower's audiences;
- participate in the cyclical representation activities for the Vice-Presidency - Commercial Strategies and Exploitation in the tourism and event organization domains that may take place in tourist spaces;
- submit for approval, in agreement with the Management, your analyses on the most promising sales and marketing opportunities and ensure presence at relevant tourism events and fairs;
- receive and process customer or potential customer requests and, if necessary, plan and follow up on reservations;
- participate in the analysis of the commercial operations of partners and competitors and recommend business development strategies;
- maintain a continuous relationship with the Tower's audiences by maintaining contact with market representatives and partners;
- collect, coordinate, and follow up on complaints and dissatisfaction regarding offered services and products and work in concert with the Customer Experience Management to this end.
- participate in the development of the Olympic Park's service offer concerning tourist spaces and make recommendations for the improvement of this offer, both in terms of volume and capacity and in terms of the nature of products and their quality;
- communicate, exchange, and maintain constant relations with the Tower's partners and audiences to maintain the Olympic Park's positioning as a leader in Montreal tourism:
- maintain relations with institutional companies concerned in the tourism sector both at the local and municipal, provincial, and international levels;
- also participate in the planning of outreach operations to the public and clients in Quebec;
- maintain contact and relations with networks, including Montreal tourism intervenors and particularly the hotel industry;
- participate in networking activities to maintain a presence and healthy relationship in the event and tourism industry both with event organizers and suppliers;
- participate, if necessary, in foreign missions within the framework of networking and commercialization actions;
- participate, within the scope of your functions, in determining the most promising sales opportunities, including targeted or special programming actions, all based on an annual planning coordinated with the stakeholders of the Olympic Park sites. Coordinate the administrative procedures related to these operations;
- participate in the inventory and observation of the need for adjustments in continuous follow-up, particularly during the year of the opening of tourist spaces, as well as the subsequent years. Participate in establishing action plans to implement the determined adjustments for operations and to satisfy the customer experience and coordinate the whole with the concerned services including the Customer Experience Management;
- participate in the planning of budgets for outreach, tourist activities, and various anticipated rental and event reservations;
- coordinate and control the Tower's event calendar and ensure its dissemination to the concerned stakeholders of the Olympic Park;
- develop business opportunities by prospecting new clients and negotiating partnerships;
- identify, solicit, and develop, if necessary, new markets, particularly among corporate audiences, tour operators, travel agencies, promoters, and other partners;
- participate, with other services, in the coordination of promotional activities;
- be available, if necessary, in concert with the operations team, at events and/or special visits and ensure that the Olympic Park's interests are highlighted;
- accomplish, if necessary, any other related task.
- YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, PARTICULAR CONDITIONS AND SKILLS
- Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in an appropriate discipline;
- have more than 5 years of experience related to the duties of the position mainly in the tourism, sales, and event sectors;
- good knowledge of national and international markets in the tourism sector;
- have a network of contacts in the tourism sector and receptive and package agencies, an asset;
- mastery of the French and English languages both written and oral;
- mastery of Microsoft 365 tools, notably Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams;
- skills in ticketing and reservation systems (Connect and Go), an asset;
- have a customer experience-centered approach, be proactive towards audience expectations and demands, possess an excellent sense of initiative;
- demonstrate interpersonal communication skills as well as an aptitude and great interest in working in teams and collaboration;
- be comfortable in an operational context with a large public, where there is a presence of constant changes, uncertainties, and emergencies; understand peak periods and seasonality in the tourism sector where work can be under pressure;
- demonstrated capacity to organize one's work, to manage multiple files.
