YOUR MISSION

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment in the plant;
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and provide solutions to technical issues;
  • Ensure the availability and optimal operation of production and service equipment by detecting breakdowns and failures;
  • Make adjustments in systems and carry out required repairs;
  • Operate and maintain a class 4 boiler;
  • Actively participate in the implementation and optimization of machine safety;
  • Engage in various committees: health and safety, continuous improvement, lockout, etc.;
  • Adopt a safety-conscious behavior at all times and maintain heightened vigilance in the execution of your work tasks.
  • ENVIRONNEMENT

This is a factory environment, and some more challenging working conditions are associated with it. Therefore, the industrial mechanic must be prepared to work in heat and humidity at times. The use of personal protective equipment is mandatory at all times (safety boots, goggles, hard hat, and vest). Adherence to SST regulations and guidelines is crucial.

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements

  • DEP in industrial mechanics, fixed machine mechanics, or any related field;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to work on a rotating 12-hour schedule;
  • Planning, analysis, and organization skills;
  • Problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Be autonomous, versatile, and curious;
  • Be meticulous and have a concern for well-done work;
  • Commit to adhering to health and safety rules.

Assets

  • Certificate in fixed machine mechanics class 4 (MMF) or in the process of obtaining it;
  • Certificate of qualification in electricity (CÉ) or in the process of obtaining it;
  • Restricted certificate in apparatus connection;
  • Knowledge and experience in welding;
  • Knowledge of Office suite software.
