We don't make regular furniture, we create exceptional products that combine the warmth of wood and the elegance of concrete.

We are looking for a passionate and meticulous person who wants to touch all the stages of manufacturing our furniture. This hybrid position of carpenter and finisher painter requires a motivated person to get involved and make a real difference in a Quebec-based SME specializing in mid and high-end.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

By occupying this hybrid and versatile position, your days will be varied and stimulating:

• Manufacturing & Assembly: Study the plans, specifications and work orders to perform the cutting, splitting, gluing and assembly of furniture combining wood and concrete.
• Prepare the wood pieces for the application of concrete.
• Sanding, Varnishing & Finishing: Prepare the surfaces, perform sanding, varnishing with a spray gun and repair to ensure the impeccable finish of the wood and concrete furniture.
• Use of machines: Adequately manipulate the workshop tools (saw bench, lathe, biscuit joiner, sandblaster, etc.).
• Quality & Improvement: Ensure compliance with quality standards, deadlines and participate in the development of new finishing standards.
• Work environment: Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized workspace.

TO BE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR, YOU MUST

• Hold a training in carpentry or equivalent;
• Have the desire to occupy a job where your versatility and resourcefulness will be solicited;
• Be meticulous and quality-oriented;
• Have a good team spirit;
• Enjoy starting the weekend on Friday noon!
