We are currently looking for a dynamic, organized, and customer-service-oriented Dispatcher to efficiently coordinate our daily operations.
Your main responsibilitiesDaily Dispatch and Operations
- Answer incoming service calls.
- Efficiently dispatch road technicians based on urgency, location, and priorities.
- Track technicians throughout the day.
- Resolve issues faced by clients and technicians.
- Open work orders (WOs) in the COSTAR system.
- Schedule appointments and emergency calls using the dispatch calendar.
- Close work orders and proceed with billing.
- Maintain constant communication with technicians, clients, and various departments.
- Ensure adherence to intervention deadlines and service standards.
- Customer Service and Internal Sales
- Provide professional and quick customer service.
- Advise clients on products and services.
- Order tires and parts when products are not available in inventory.
- Track orders with suppliers.
- Inform clients of the status of their requests and delivery deadlines.
- Operations Coordination
- Supervise the daily activities of the road technician team.
- Optimize routes and the productivity of mobile teams.
- Ensure the maintenance of service units.
- Coordinate part orders for technicians and the Dorval garage.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and purchasing departments to ensure excellent operational flow.
- Desired ProfileRequirements
- Full bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch.
- Excellent knowledge of tires and wheels for commercial vehicles (trucks and trailers).
- Excellent planning, logistics, and priority management skills.
- Great capacity to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
- Assets
- Experience with an inventory management system (ERP).
- Knowledge of the COSTAR system.
- Valid driver's license.
- DEP, DEC, or training in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Experience in the transportation, commercial tires, or heavy vehicles industry.
