Under the supervision of the production and nursery director, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our equipment and facilities by ensuring that the premises are organized, safe, and functional. Thanks to your sense of organization and practical spirit, you will directly contribute to improving the efficiency of our operations.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Organization
- Arrange and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of buildings, equipment, workshops, yards, and work areas.
- Organize storage areas so that tools, parts, and equipment are ordered, identified, and easily accessible.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of good organization practices inspired by the principles of *Lean manufacturing*, Kaizen (continuous improvement), and the 5S method.
- Design and improve workstations to facilitate teamwork and improve productivity.
Internal Handling and Logistics
- Organize and perform the loading and unloading of machinery, equipment, pallets, and various materials.
- Move equipment safely and efficiently around the site.
- Prepare equipment for transport or reactivation.
- Participate in internal logistics to ensure that materials are always in the right place at the right time.
Facility Maintenance and Improvement
- Install, modify, and maintain production equipment (grinder, conveyors, bark stripper, etc.).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and infrastructure.
- Collaborate and supervise subcontractors during specialized work.
- Maintain technical systems (CVAC, humidification, irrigation, pumps, compressors, etc.).
- Organize and manage tools and spare parts.
Support to Operations
- Participate in production activities when operational needs require it.

- You enjoy as much driving a forklift or moving machinery as repairing, building, or improving facilities.
- You are versatile and appreciate varied challenges in a day.
- You have a concern for well-done work and pay great attention to safety.
Assets
- Experience in industrial maintenance, maintenance, or building maintenance.
- Experience in machinery or heavy load handling.
- Competency card for forklift operation, less than 3 years old (mandatory).
- Class 5 driver's license (mandatory).
- Knowledge of welding, mechanics, plumbing, or electricity.
- Experience with the principles of *Lean manufacturing*, Kaizen (continuous improvement), and the 5S method.
- Proficiency in French (mandatory)
- Proficiency in English and Spanish

Your future environment
- Production site located in ... 30 minutes north of Montreal (opposite traffic direction).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), mostly Tuesday to Saturday, availability to work overtime during peak periods.
