Accounting Clerk

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:

Working closely with the controller, the accounting clerk prepares invoices, makes deposits, processes and pays vendor invoices. They verify files daily and prepare end-of-month client files.

OTHER TASKS

• Assist in payroll production;
• Assist in the preparation of end-of-year reports (payroll and accounting);
• Daily data entry;
• Any other tasks related to the position;

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Diploma in accounting;
• Ensure self-control and validation of accounting entries/files;
• Constant rigor in completing tasks;
• Independent review and correction of tasks;
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of files;
• Ability to detect and correct discrepancies;
• Knowledge of Office suite and excellent knowledge of Excel;
• Required experience: minimum 1 year in accounting;
• Knowledge of Acomba (an asset);
• Good command of French and English.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

• Full-time, permanent, in-person.
• Day shift: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00h to 16:00h.

SALARY SCALE

• $23.50 to $27.50/hour;
• Overtime hours are paid at a premium rate.
