Building Electrician - STM Project

The project is currently looking for a Building Electrician to support the growth of the office and the existing team.

The GMA (Asset Management and Maintenance) project team will be responsible for work related to the metro network infrastructure, including major renovations of certain metro stations as well as transportation centers.

The permanent work carried out within the scope of this mandate aims to upgrade the architectural, structural and electromechanical components of the building to ensure their longevity. These major works include the renovation of the 600V and lower voltage electrical distribution, the accessibility of the metro, the renovation of the waterproofing membranes of the roofs of the stations and the renovation of the fire alarm systems.

Your Role

• Perform the design of electrical systems such as distribution, lighting, fire alarms and other related systems.
• Write and perform calculations related to the design.
• Participate in the preparation of technical electricity tenders.
• Participate in the preparation of technical studies in electricity.
• Evaluate the costs of the work.
• Participate in the supervision of the work.
• Provide assistance to the client and technical staff.
• Perform all these responsibilities under the supervision of the responsible engineer.

About You

• Hold a DEC in electricity or any relevant disciplines.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience on building electricity projects.
• Have experience in medium voltage electricity (up to 25,000 volts) involving equipment as well as in building electricity (lighting and fire alarm systems, 600 V and lower voltage distribution and renovation of existing buildings and operating systems).
• Have experience in engineering consulting.
• Have good mastery of the Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook software.
• Have good mastery of the AutoCad and Revit software.
• Have the ability to work in a team.
• Have good mastery of French (spoken/written).
