DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Citrix Systems Administrator (sysadmin) to join our team of advisors at our Montreal or Quebec office as part of a permanent position.
This position is hybrid. 2 days per week at the Montreal or Quebec office.
Acting as a consultant for Chrome Technologies, the candidate will intervene with our clients in the realization of the projects they have entrusted to us.
The organization is looking for a virtual environment administrator to ensure the operation, stability and evolution of virtualization platforms.
The resource will be responsible for maintaining the performance, security, availability and reliability of virtual workstations and applications used by internal teams.
This role includes incident and problem management, change management, proactive monitoring of environments, as well as collaboration with several IT teams (networks, security, workstations, cloud computing).
The administrator will contribute to improving the user experience by ensuring a performant, stable and secure virtual environment.
TASKS:
- Administer, monitor and optimize virtual environments
- Ensure the performance, stability and availability of platforms
- Manage vulnerabilities: prioritization, treatment and follow-up
- Support P3 and P4 incidents (diagnosis, resolution, coordination)
- Analyze the root causes of problems and implement durable fixes
- Participate in change management (updates, patches, deployments)
- Monitor performance indicators (capacity, availability, stability)
- Perform proactive monitoring of environments
- Collaborate with IT teams: security, networks, workstations, cloud computing
- Document configurations, procedures, standards and best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 to 4 years of experience in virtual environments
- Experience in virtualization (Citrix required)
- Asset: experience Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Good mastery of Windows environments
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incidents, problems, changes)
- Knowledge in vulnerability management and environment security
- Good understanding of networks (connectivity, security, basic notions)
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or other ITSM tool
- Knowledge of PowerShell (asset)
- Mastery of English (intermediate level, asset)
- Strong sensitivity to security and vulnerability management issues
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic capacity in an incident context
- Structured, process-oriented approach (ITIL)
- Proactivity, anticipation and active monitoring
- Autonomy, rigor and effective prioritization
- Ability to manage multiple files in parallel
- Good stress management in an operational context
- Excellent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
