As an SQF/HACCP Coordinator, you will be responsible for

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems in accordance with regulatory standards, certifications, and client requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Planning and coordinating periodic reviews of food safety and quality systems.
  • Implementing preventive measures to identify and reduce non-compliance risks.
  • Analyzing non-compliance trends and recommending effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinating and participating in internal and external certification and client audits.
  • Tracking and updating quality documentation and managing changes effectively.
  • Collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Developing and coordinating food safety and quality procedure training programs.
  • Conducting regulatory monitoring to ensure compliance with company quality programs.
  • Developing and tracking performance indicators associated with quality processes.
  • Supervising and supporting employees under your responsibility, when applicable.

This position is for you if...

  • You hold a university degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field.
  • You have excellent knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • You have relevant experience in applying, maintaining, and improving quality systems in food processing.
  • You have experience in team management or coordination.
  • You are comfortable with computer tools and technical documentation.
  • You are known for your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and good judgment.

Additional Information

  • Position based in Saint-Bernard, with regular visits to the Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse plant.
  • Strategic role with an impact on the quality activities of two production sites.
  • Work environment combining office and active plant presence.
  • The position requires the ability to work in refrigerated environments (4°C).
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn during plant visits.
  • Travel between Saint-Bernard and Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse sites is required.
