Your Contribution to the Team

As a paralegal in business law, your contribution to the team will include, without being limited to, the following:

Organize and coordinate files and follow up on them, manage documents and make deliveries according to production deadlines;

Perform the constitution and organization of companies;

Prepare and draft resolutions and corporate documents;

Participate in due diligence checks and closing sessions;

Carry out various searches and registrations, including in the Registry of Personal and Real Mobile Rights and the Land Registry;

Update corporate books;

Prepare and file annual documents and reports required by the Registrar of Companies and Corporations Canada;

Participate in corporate reorganizations;

Prepare closing books (paper and electronic support).

Is This the Job for You?

The answer is yes if you have: A diploma in legal techniques, a law certificate, or equivalent training; A keen sense of resourcefulness and the ability to know where to look;

Client orientation, courtesy, and professionalism; A sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and organization;

The ability to manage multiple files at once and good priority management; A team spirit and initiative;

Proficiency in French, both orally and in writing;

Proficiency in English, both orally and in writing, to ensure communication with clients whose working language is English, within the framework of essential responsibilities of the position.
