The major project of extending the blue line of the metro is at the heart of the city of Montreal's ecological transition vision. It is central to its economic and environmental development. On this mandate, you will work on long-term projects with the STM for the blue line extension project.

Join the integrated project team as a Contract Administrator - Dispute Prevention and Management, you provide a set of professional and specialized services in contract management with a focus on dispute prevention and management. The sought-after resource has experience in dispute management, claims, or complaints, and masters the principles and processes involved in construction contract management.

Your responsibilities

Provide advisory role to partners in the dispute management process Analyze disputes and targeted interventions on major contracts Advise on dispute prevention in contract management Interpret contractual documents for complex cases within the framework of major contracts Analyze complex contracts and commercial conditions in a regulatory context Quantify impacts Issue recommendations and opinions Exercise functional authority for the mandates entrusted to them, allowing them to adapt their work methods and ways of doing Plan, organize, and lead meetings with internal partners

Your background

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in contract administration within construction projects, in fields associated with infrastructure (architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, automation, etc.) as well as specialized industrial equipment (e.g., track, motorized installations, TCPE, etc.).
  • Principles and processes involved in construction contract management
  • Basic legal principles and processes
