Responsibilities of the Reserve Security Officer

• Customer service tasks: welcoming, identity verification, and orienting visitors.
• Manage access control
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any need for maintenance
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security issues
• Answer questions in person or over the phone

Qualifications of the Reserve Security Officer

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid BSP permit
• First Aid Certificate - mandatory
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Skilled in telephone and computer use
