• Here's how you will be involved:

Manage and optimize Oracle Database environments to ensure the performance, availability, and security of critical data. Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database instances in cloud (OCI) and on-premises environments. Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. Optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries to maximize application efficiency. Collaborate with development teams to resolve performance issues and ensure data integrity.

Your experience:

• Demonstrated practical experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
• Hands-on experience in managing and optimizing databases on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Proficiency in Oracle Database architecture (version 19c minimum) and SQL/PL/SQL programming
• Expertise in performance tuning, AWR/ADDM report analysis, and Oracle tools (RMAN, Data Pump, OEM)
• The candidate must be bilingual in French and English, as they will be required to collaborate with resources outside Quebec
• You stand out if:
• You possess Oracle (OCP), AWS, Google Cloud, or equivalent certifications (support offered to obtain them)
• You have in-depth knowledge of high-availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, OGG)
• You are proficient in multiple database engines (MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• You are self-motivated, meticulous, and possess a strong team spirit
