Project Director

Under the supervision of the construction director, the project director will be assigned the management of projects, to manage their execution in collaboration with the site foreman. He/she will be responsible for monitoring subcontractors and suppliers while ensuring that project deadlines, costs, and profitability are met.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Negotiation and awarding of subcontracting contracts
• Administrative opening and closing of projects in collaboration with administrative assistants
• Official representative of CCT with clients and professionals
• Planning and management of work and schedules
• Monitoring of costs, budgets, and project profitability
• Analysis, preparation, and management of directives
• Preparation of payment requests in collaboration with administration
• Approval of invoices and payments to subcontractors
• Planning and management of OHS in collaboration with the foreman and consultant
• Closing and delivery of projects (tracking documents to be submitted and final payment)
• Profitability follow-up report
• Management of subcontractor or client meetings if required
• Preparation and documentation of claims as needed

Required Qualifications

• Hold a DEC and/or BAC relevant to the field (Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Be a good negotiator
• Have a high degree of autonomy
• Be methodical and rigorous
• Ability to use MS Project, Excel, and Outlook software (ICC experience would be an asset)
• Have a good team spirit, positivity, and be dynamic
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 per year
