Part-time Cash Handling Clerk (Day Shift)

We are currently hiring 1 cash handling clerk (two days of availability to be provided from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday and Friday) for our Chicoutimi branch. *1117, West Blvd, Chicoutimi QC G7H 5B1*

You will be responsible for counting and verifying monetary packages from our clients. You will work for our value transport division in Rimouski within our dynamic team and benefit from a highly flexible schedule.

What you will do

• Ensure the reception and opening of packages from value transport
• Use high-speed processing equipment to verify, sort, and count currencies, coins, and checks from our clients
• Prepare exchange funds for commercial clients
• Prepare packages for ATM replenishment
• Balance batches in the computer system and produce reports
• Maintain equipment and work areas
• Adhere to established schedules and deadlines
• Apply GardaWorld's established security and confidentiality rules
• Any other related tasks

Your profile

• High school diploma or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education
• Salary of $19.01
• Available to work on call
• Minimum two days of availability from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Comfortable lifting charges up to 25 lbs repeatedly
• Good team spirit, concentration capacity, and logical thinking
• Methodical person with a sense of organization
• Good computer skills and comfortable with numbers
