Electrician or Electrician for Public Lighting or Traffic Signals

The Property Management Service is looking for electricians or electricians for public lighting or traffic signals to fill vacant positions.

THE CHALLENGES

As an electrician or electrician for public lighting or traffic signals and under the authority of the foreman, you will have to:

• Perform various tasks including the installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of electrical or electronic circuits of infrastructures, structural elements, various electrical equipment, as well as the electrical or electronic equipment of street lighting systems or traffic lights, in accordance with plans and estimates;
• Locate underground cables.

To Be Part of Our Team, You Must

• Hold a professional studies diploma (DEP) in electricity with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. The position requires this training and experience or any other set of knowledge and experience deemed equivalent;
• Hold a journeyman's qualification certificate in electricity;
• Hold a valid Class 3 driver's license or hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and commit to obtaining a Class 3 driver's license within six (6) months following the start of employment;
• Hold the "Health and Safety General on Construction Sites" card;
• Possess the appropriate personal qualities and skills such as autonomy, initiative, concern for well-done work, judgment, and the ability to work in a team.

Note that the position requires you to remain available to perform interventions on call according to a rotating schedule.
