Accounting Assistant

Labrecque Plancher Décor is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join its team.

In this role, you will play a key part in the financial and administrative management of the company, ensuring the smooth running of daily accounting operations.

Your main responsibilities

General Accounting

• Bank reconciliation
• Accounting entries
• *(essential)*
• Tracking of accounts receivable
• Application of customer payments
• Inventory validation (occasional)

Suppliers and Payments

• Management of invoices (processing, documentation, validation)
• Preparation of payments to suppliers
• Payment of installers
• Procedures for opening accounts

Payroll and Human Resources

• Validation of working hours and variable schedules
• Management of payroll (as needed)

Compliance and Administration

• Various administrative documentation, including (but not limited to):
• Validation of installer letters (CCQ and CNESST)
• Revenue Quebec Certificates
• Analysis and responses to receipt requests
• Search and requests for subsidies

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (entries, etc.)

Assets

• Knowledge of the Odoo software
• Experience in the construction or design industry
