Job Description: Florist Manager

About the Position

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Florist Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boutique while actively participating in floral creation. This role combines team and store management with the creation of high-quality floral arrangements.

Working Conditions

• Hours: Full-time — 34 hours per week
• Schedule: 4 days per week
• Availability: Work 1 weekend every 2 weeks

Main Responsibilities

• Workshop and Store Management: Supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure the general upkeep of the store.
• Floral Creation: Design and create various floral arrangements (bouquets, custom compositions, events, funerals, etc.).
• Stock and Procurement Management: Place orders for fresh flowers and supplies, manage deliveries, ensure stock rotation, and reduce waste.
• Customer Service and Sales: Welcome customers, advise clients, take orders in-store or by phone, and ensure excellent customer experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Required Experience: Solid practical experience in floristry (arrangement, flower care, and knowledge of varieties).
• Demonstrated skills in team or retail store management.
• Developed artistic sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good stress management and ability to work under pressure during peak periods (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, etc.).

Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
