Job Summary: The Team Lead or Assistant Director assists the General Manager in managing the park's daily operations, including all HR and procurement responsibilities, and supports the team in achieving business objectives.

Assist in overseeing all aspects of the park's finances.

  • Assist the General Manager in managing the park's profitability and identifying ways to grow the business and manage operating costs.
  • Proactively review the park's performance with the General Manager and identify opportunities.
  • Assist the General Manager in controlling money management processes and verifying the accuracy of deposits.
  • Manage all inventory and place orders as needed (clothing, socks, hats, cleaning supplies, and office supplies).

Staff Management

  • Assist the General Manager in establishing team schedules and ensuring all shifts are staffed appropriately; resolve staffing issues as needed.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and developing park team members; provide ongoing training and orientation as needed.
  • Perform all HR tasks at the park level (new employee documents, orientation, training, performance evaluations, employee file maintenance).

Guest Services

  • Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback; ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in overseeing or assigning someone to oversee all front desk activities, including cashier performance, cash management, customer check-in process, customer concerns, safety, and cleanliness in the establishment.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a customer service culture throughout the park.

Marketing

  • Assist in overseeing the event manager/coordinator and party hosts and ensure all events are well-executed.
  • Go into the community to build relationships with local businesses and organizations.

Maintenance/Safety

  • Assist in monitoring the park's overall safety and cleanliness; ensure company policies and standards are followed by all team members.
  • Oversee or assign someone to oversee all monitors and background activities, including safety inspections, equipment maintenance, cleaning schedules, and repairs.
  • Master all technologies and systems in your park; know what to do in case of a problem.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with your park's emergency and evacuation plans.

Other

  • Attend mandatory meetings and training.
  • Other assigned tasks.

Expectations

  • First Aid certification, CPR, and DEA preferred.
  • Serve as a champion and model for the company's core values and mission/vision/values statement in all that you do.
  • Be PRESENT in your park.
  • Demonstrate management and leadership skills – Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
  • Ensure the GM or AM is on schedule to work during all hours of operation, where possible.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Maintain a strong presence and be capable of influencing and enforcing appropriate behaviors.

  • Go above and beyond to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Demonstrate maturity in all interactions.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
