The System and Network Administrator is responsible for the daily management and proper functioning of the networks, data centers, and remote server infrastructures for all SOPREMA subsidiaries in North America. They apply best practices in security, monitor updates, maintenance, and compliance of systems and equipment across all sites in Canada, the USA, South America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

• Install, monitor, and maintain LAN and WAN networks;
• Administer network equipment (routers, switches, access points);
• Install, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual servers;
• Ensure compliance across all technologies and sites in Canada, USA, South America, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific;
• Manage storage and backups;
• Ensure network security;
• Respond to escalated requests from the technical support team;
• Coordinate work with external consultants on certain projects;
• Keep documentation up to date around deployed equipment and systems.
• THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your background

• DEC or BAC in networking or computer science and 3 years of experience;
• or
• AEC with certifications and 7 years of experience;
• Possess a CCNA certification (an asset).

Your knowledge

• Master TCP/IP; Active Directory, DNS, VPN, DHCP, GPO;
• Experience with large-scale remote network architectures;
• Master virtualization and storage technologies;
• Master Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet technologies;
• Microsoft Server environment;
• Experience in a large corporation (an asset).
