Accounting Technician

Becoming an accounting technician with us will allow you to contribute to the smooth running of our administrative and financial operations. You will be involved in the complete accounting cycle, inventory tracking of fuel, and management of accounts receivable. This is a great opportunity to put your expertise to use in a specialized and essential sector to our activities.

This position is offered under a fixed-term contract of 15 to 18 months, depending on the hiring date.

Your future responsibilities as an accounting technician

• Provide administrative and accounting support for airport operations, including processing financial transactions and tracking customer accounts;
• Produce and analyze various operational and financial reports, including profit and loss reports and inventory reconciliations;
• Track aircraft fuel inventories and ensure the accuracy of data by identifying and resolving discrepancies;
• Prepare weekly fuel pricing (Jet Fuel) and collaborate on preparing fuel tax declarations;
• Contribute to sound financial management by verifying invoices, preparing accounting entries, and ensuring customer account recovery.

To be an accounting technician, you must

• Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• Possess a DEP or DEC or other relevant training in administration or accounting;
• Knowledge of the Sage 50 accounting software (an asset);
• Master the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel);
• Be bilingual (English is required to communicate with our English-speaking teams).
