In your ideal role, you will

• Work in the Catia V5 computer system to identify tool and part needs for the manufacture of fixtures (drawings established by engineering/method departments)
• Request parts from the purchasing department
• Operate conventional and CNC lathes/milling machines (Hyundai WIA)
• Operate bending presses, saws, and drills to transform raw materials
• Assemble fixture parts and installation
• Use a CMM inspection machine

How to thrive in this role? Required skills, knowledge, and experience

• DEC Mechanical Engineering, or
• ASP Tooling
• Basic knowledge of tolerances and GD&T
• For CNC, the ability to do simple programming (Mastercam) will be an important asset
• Practical knowledge of Tracker Lazer and Polyworks system (an asset)
