Mental Health Interventionist

Entrée Chez Soi Brome-Missisquoi is looking for a person to intervene in the housing transition and psychosocial follow-up programs. The person will contribute to a place that allows for some stability in mental health during a difficult period, break isolation, and learn housing skills. In short, a place that can facilitate recovery and aims to return to the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual intervention, follow-up, support, and accompaniment.
• Temporarily replace colleagues.
• Enforce living codes and procedures.
• Refer to other organizations.
• Develop intervention plans and follow-up notes.
• Design intervention tools.
• Assist in acquiring daily living and domestic skills.
• Other possible tasks according to interest and skills.

Requirements

• University or college diploma in a related field of assistance (social work, psychology, special education, etc.).
• Good computer and technological tools mastery.
• Excellent French and English proficiency.
• Believe in the Alternative in mental health.
• Possess a car and a driver's license.
• Two years of experience in mental health (each missing year can be compensated by two years of other experience).

Working Conditions

• Starting salary of 27.09$/hour.
• 32 hours/week. Tuesday to Friday.
• Necessary materials provided for task execution.
• Vacation: 1 day per month worked after the first year and 4 weeks the second year.
• Travel and representation expenses: 0.60$/km, 15$ lunch, 25$ dinner, and 35$ supper.
• Holidays: 13 days.
• Retirement plan and collective insurance with employer contribution.
• 5 days of sick leave and 6 days of mobile leave.
