Painting Assistant

The Store Manager is looking for a key person to join their team. Reporting to the Store Manager, the primary role of the Painting Assistant is to advise customers on the selection of paint and finishing products, while ensuring the department's market positioning and providing a high-quality customer experience.

More specifically, the successful candidate will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service and build customer loyalty;
  • Assess customer needs and provide informed and specialized advice on the department's products;
  • Present and demonstrate merchandise, explaining its features and suggesting complementary products;
  • Support the marketing of the department's products through display, visual presentation, labeling, and merchandise promotion;
  • Stay informed about new products and their technical features;
  • Keep up-to-date with promotions and circulars to optimize marketing;
  • Maintain the assigned department;
  • Develop a basic knowledge of all products in the store;
  • Comply with health and safety policies and loss prevention procedures;
  • Perform other tasks as requested and defined by the supervisor in line with the nature of the job.
