  • Support and assist estimation and execution teams in developing technical choices (methods, temporary works) to establish a competitive price and representation;
  • Cooperate in updating the company's databases with current and past information for estimation and execution teams;
  • Cooperate in preparing and updating support documents according to provincial codes and regulations or EBC's execution standards;
  • Guide and support project teams in preparing work methods and procedures;
  • Conduct research, prepare, and deliver technical and/or administrative training according to the candidate's field of expertise;
  • Participate in the development and resolution of technical project questions with planning or remote teams;
  • Perform design, define materials, procedures, and prepare compliance certificates in the field of temporary works such as:
  • Bracing; retaining walls, formwork, scaffolding, guardrails, walkways, ramps, crane platforms, or others; life lines and/or anchors;
  • Monitor work related to temporary works (if necessary);
  • Perform design or prepare compliance certificates in the field of lifting equipment;
  • Perform design and monitoring of work (if required) in the field of civil engineering works and roads (temporary bridges, temporary roads, etc);
  • Conduct inspections in the field of temporary building frames and foundations;
  • Support team members in their tasks according to the candidate's field of expertise;
  • Prepare conceptual and technical plans for various elements related to temporary designs and EBC's work methods;
  • Create drawings using Autocad or other Autodesk software;
  • Ensure that work performed under your responsibility meets applicable technical and contractual requirements, as well as GHIO and current health and safety at work (HSAW), environmental, and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a relevant discipline;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in design coordination;
  • Preference is given to a candidate with experience working on bridge construction projects;
  • Be proficient in the Office Suite.
