Sobeys, a major food distributor in Canada, serving banners such as IGA, IGA Extra, Rachelle-Béry, Marché Bonichoix, and Les Marchés Tradition, is looking for a Warehouse Associate. Under the supervision of the operations supervisor, the warehouse associate is responsible for assembling orders destined for IGA merchants in the province of Quebec. Your tasks will include:

Assembling grocery orders (non-perishable products) for our merchants using an electric pallet truck and the voice transmitter system and/or unit assembly.

You may have the opportunity to occupy different work positions such as receiving, shipping, unloading, and forklift operation.

Additionally, each employee is required to adhere to the highest standards in food handling, product temperature maintenance, cross-contamination prevention, and hygiene and sanitation.

Schedule: Night shift: Tuesday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM,

Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM,

Friday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and

Saturday from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Job Requirements

Workplace health and safety must be a priority at work.

Knowing how to operate a pallet truck and/or forklift is an asset.

Being in excellent physical condition, autonomous, and quick to execute.
