What is the job about?
As a Mortgage Loan Associate, you will provide customer service support and direct sales assistance to mortgage loan advisors, allowing them to focus on planning, advisory activities, and client acquisition. You will contribute to a distinctive customer experience by offering added-value support and resolving issues. You will collaborate with partners across the organization to determine client needs and goals and develop your team's network. As a member of the mortgage loan advisors team, you will bring innovative ideas to increase market share and support team success.
What will your tasks be?
- Assist mortgage loan advisors in preparing client meetings, and provide support for finalizing mortgage solutions and recommendations to partners.
- Ensure a superior customer experience and service, whether in the branch or via phone or email. Assist in addressing customer requests and concerns by acting as a resource person and ensuring document accuracy through follow-ups, if necessary.
- Ensure the effective and efficient execution of client-related tasks, identifying areas for improvement to achieve efficiency gains.
- Maximize opportunities to identify client needs, make recommendations, and acquire new mortgage clients, and track and review progress against the annual team plan.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and identify and correct any operational risk factors.
- Support the administrative tasks of mortgage loan advisors.
- What do you need to succeed?
Essential Skills
- Experience in the net worth mortgage financing field
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities, juggle multiple tasks, and resolve problems
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and digital technologies
- Excellent communication skills in person, via email, and over the phone
- Flexibility, willingness to learn, keen sense of ethics, and drive to succeed
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve a bilingual client base.

- Strong background in customer relationship building and development
- Experience in proactive retail sales and sales metrics and pipeline management
