As a Recruiter, you will work closely with the business partner in recruitment to attract and select the best talent. You will be responsible for recruiting unionized employees to build high-performing teams within the given timeframes. You will also manage internal mobility movements and play a key role in optimizing recruitment strategies by informing the business partner of the challenges encountered in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute job postings in line with the employer brand;
  • Conduct pre-selection and pre-interviews to fill a large number of positions quickly within the organization;
  • Coordinate interviews with designated supervisors;
  • Proactively communicate recruitment challenges to the business partner in talent acquisition to support strategic decision-making;
  • Participate in improving the candidate experience by ensuring regular follow-up on the status of their application throughout the recruitment process;
  • Contribute to the deployment of the recruitment strategy, including publications on various channels;
  • Participate in optimizing the use of social media and other recruitment resources to maximize visibility and attract the largest number of applications;
  • Participate in opening HR files by ensuring that all required documents related to hiring are complete and comply with internal procedures;
  • Provide the necessary information to ensure the coordination of the integration of new colleagues (unionized and non-unionized) including internal mobility management;
  • Write internal job postings and job confirmations, and distribute them on all employee bulletin boards in accordance with the terms of the collective agreement;
  • Ensure compliance with the conditions indicated in the current collective agreement, particularly those concerning staffing and internal mobility;
  • Support the preparation of performance reports and recruitment statistics;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of recruitment-related procedures and processes;
  • Any other related tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in human resources or business administration or any other relevant combination of experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment and knowledge of the complete staffing cycle (internal and external) with a passion for talent acquisition;
  • Experience in a unionized environment (an asset);
  • Functional English spoken (an asset) for selecting individuals in interactions with our clients;
  • Experience working with the Office Suite, recruitment tools, and platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.);
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) (an asset);
  • Knowledge and interest in new technologies and new practices in the field of recruitment;
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in a constantly evolving environment;
  • Excellent time management allowing for effective management of multiple recruitments simultaneously;
  • Communication and teamwork skills to build strong relationships while demonstrating creative initiatives;
  • Demonstrate dynamism with excellent organizational and time management skills.
