Your responsibilities as a grocery clerk

• Process merchandise at the cash register or with the handheld scanner;
• Accept payments from customers in the forms accepted by the store;
• Make regular deposits of money from your cash register;
• Be responsible for balancing your cash register according to the company's standards and policies;
• Provide customer service for any questions related to the products and services offered by the store as well as the various modalities accompanying these;
• Clean work areas such as cash registers, reception counters, etc.;
• Bag previously registered merchandise at the cash register if necessary, and hand it to the customer;
• Perform any other tasks as required by your immediate supervisor.
