Full Stack Developer - Java, Angular

You will join Amaris Consulting’s Information System & Digital scope in Montreal, contributing to technology solutions within a cybersecurity environment. As a Full Stack Developer - Java, Angular, the role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining secure applications while supporting data analytics needs for cybersecurity teams.

Your missions

• Develop front-end features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build and maintain back-end services using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Implement and integrate technology solutions in a cybersecurity context.
• Administer and maintain technical components, including operating systems and databases.
• Design and optimize database queries, database setup, and data models.
• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle, including design reviews, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure application stability, performance, and scalability.
• Support cybersecurity data analytics needs through REST API data extraction, log normalization, and collaboration with technology, business, security, and regulatory teams.

Your profile

• 5 to 7 years of experience in full stack development, with proven involvement in Java and Angular application development.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Spring Boot, Unix commands, database queries, shell scripting, Bash scripting, database setup, database modelling, REST APIs, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of Kafka streaming, firewall logs, application logs, system logs, platform logs, and data analytics concepts is a plus.
• Academic background in computer science, software development, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
• English fluent. French is a plus.
• Strong ability to identify knowledge gaps and proactively seek the information required.
• Strong ability to synthesize multiple requests and timelines into clear milestones and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive mindset and strong initiative in the approach to work.
