Your area of focus.

The Automotive Sales Representative interacts with potential customers to understand their vehicle and purchase preferences, demonstrate vehicle comfort and convenience features, facilitate test drives, and assist them in completing the necessary paperwork to finalize the sale. Sales professionals strive to meet their monthly sales goals by following a daily work plan that focuses on sales-generating activities and providing excellent customer service, from first contact to final delivery. The primary function of an Automotive Sales Representative is to ensure that customers feel welcome and supported throughout the vehicle purchase process; ensuring the customer is satisfied and will continue to use the dealership for future vehicle purchase and maintenance needs.

  • Greet and assist customers entering the showroom, presenting a professional environment that supports automotive sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Stay up-to-date with required training by dealership groups and manufacturers.
  • Other tasks assigned by dealership management.

What are the essentials?

  • Possess the required authorized documents to obtain employment, in addition to having a current and valid driver's license issued by CA.
  • Must submit and successfully complete an adequate pre-employment experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role required, with experience in retail sales, sales, marketing, and customer service being preferable.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including: standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write emails and messages in a professional and inviting manner.
  • Possess the competitive spirit, dynamism, outgoing personality, consistency, and resilience required to meet monthly sales goals while following a daily work plan.
  • Must be bilingual French and English, as this role requires the ability to communicate, both written and oral, in French and English.
