Live-In Janitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-In Janitor to join our team at a prestigious multi-residential building in the laval area, The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles, with strong plumbing skills, computer proficiency, excellent people skills, and the ability to work independently.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the building is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Conduct routine inspections of the building's common areas, facilities, and equipment.
• Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing efficient and effective solutions.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
• Communicate regularly with the office to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents, addressing their concerns and requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, ensuring units are clean and ready for new residents.
• *Qualifications:*
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles.
• Strong plumbing skills and experience with plumbing repairs.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to use property management software.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
