We are currently looking for a Reception and Shipping Clerk to join our team in Montréal-Est.
What you will be responsible for
- Confirm customer visit schedules;
- Work closely with the logistics and transportation teams;
- Welcome customers and ensure the proper reception of materials in accordance with established procedures;
- Assist with the unloading and handling of materials using a forklift;
- Sort, inspect, and direct different types of metals to the appropriate departments;
- Weigh materials and prepare receiving and shipping documents;
- Perform data entry and any other related tasks to support daily operations.
Qualifications To join our team
- You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in shipping and receiving or in an industrial environment;
- You are recognized for your ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast‑paced work environment, as well as for your ability to make quick decisions;
- You are able to communicate in both French and English (functional level);
- You excel in customer service and communication and demonstrate a professional attitude;
- You have a basic knowledge of computer systems and are comfortable using management software;
- You are able to operate a forklift and are comfortable performing physical tasks.
