We are looking for a Senior Firmware Developer passionate about embedded systems, low-level development, and connected products.
You will join a team developing the next generation of smart cameras and participate in the evolution of a complex embedded platform integrating hardware, software, artificial intelligence, and image processing.
You will work at the heart of the interactions between firmware, microprocessors, sensors, electronic components, and communication protocols to improve product performance and the user experience.
Every collaborator is important to us. We are looking for an autonomous, curious, and rigorous person, capable of solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Hardware, Software, AI, and Product).
Discover your future responsibilities
- Design and evolve the architecture of embedded platforms.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain the firmware of connected products.
- Define the interfaces between firmware, hardware, and different software modules.
- Participate in the integration of new SoCs, processors, sensors, and electronic components.
- Develop and optimize drivers and low-level services.
- Perform validations on prototypes and final hardware platforms.
- Debug, measure, and optimize the performance of critical features.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, AI, and Product teams to design new features.
- Participate in architecture reviews and share technical best practices.
- Document architectures and technical choices.
- Your technical expertise:
- We are looking for a person with:
- More than 8 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Excellent mastery of the C language.
- Solid experience in embedded development under Linux (Kernel Space).
- Good knowledge of Yocto or a customized embedded Linux distribution.
- Excellent mastery of low-level development:
- Linux Drivers
- Memory Management
- GPIO
- I2C
- SPI
- UART
- RTC
- Good understanding of microcontrollers, embedded processors, and SoC architectures.
- Experience in integrating existing platforms and complex codebases.
- Ability to work directly on real hardware and prototypes.
- Problem-solving and performance optimization approach.
Assets
- Experience with image sensors or video capture systems.
- Knowledge of imaging pipelines, video processing, or embedded AI.
