We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance team. You will report to the Senior Director FP&A. You will be responsible for driving the FP&A financial partnership with the company’s stakeholders while leading strategic financial initiatives. This is a highly visible role within a function that collaborates directly with the CFO, ELT, and external advisors. This person will develop the existing working relationships and methodologies with key stakeholders, both at the business unit and functional levels, by executing various planning cycles (budget, forecasts, long-term plan), understanding and explaining revenues, workforce planning, cost of sales, operating expenses, and consolidating information into financial plans.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for the financial partnership with VPs and C-suite level stakeholders, providing solid financial analyses to support strategic plans
- Prepare and present deliverables to senior management
- Build financial models, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projections to support decision-making across the organization, while guiding business partners and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial plans
- Collaborate with business teams to provide recommendations and analyses to drive revenue growth and optimize profitability
- Manage the company’s P&L by analyzing financial and operational results, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading cost optimization initiatives
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve the accuracy of forecasts and planning
- Support other FP&A leaders in developing long-term strategies
- Support and/or develop an interfunctional network within the company to anticipate and plan for changes related to revenue generation strategies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
- More than 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis
- Excellent mastery of Excel is essential
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and presenting P&L results
- Experience as a business partner in finance with senior management
- Experience in consulting or accounting firms is an asset
- Experience in team management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with all levels of management. As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, English proficiency is required for this position.
