Accounts Payable Accountant

La Tuilerie is a well-established Quebec company, specializing in floor coverings, with 7 branches across Quebec.

To complete our finance department team, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant who wishes to actively contribute to the company's financial operations while gradually developing their general accounting skills.

You will work in collaboration with our financial controller in an environment where automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are important.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure the complete cycle of vendor accounts;
• Process invoices using our automation system;
• Prepare payments and track schedules;
• Reconcile vendor statements and corporate credit cards;
• Collaborate with our branches and vendors;
• Produce various reports and support the Finance team;
• Gradually participate in various general accounting activities.

The profile we are looking for

• Hold a diploma in accounting or equivalent training;
• Have at least two years of experience in accounts payable or accounting;
• Be known for your meticulousness, organizational skills, and autonomy;
• Enjoy solving problems and working in a team;
• Wish to learn, grow, and develop your versatility in accounting;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, retail, or a multi-site environment is an asset.
