Here's what your daily life would look like in our team
Under the supervision of the coordinator of the Payroll Service, the incumbent acts as an expert in the analysis, optimization and transformation of business processes related to payroll, finance, internal control and information management activities. They manage and coordinate continuous improvement and digital transformation projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency, data quality, control reliability and information availability for management. In this capacity, they analyze sector needs, identify improvement opportunities, recommend appropriate technological solutions and support their implementation. They contribute to the evolution of the management's information resources by exploiting data from the integrated management software (IMS) and developing solutions based on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint and other tools enabling process automation, standardization and optimization. The incumbent also acts as an advisory resource to managers and teams in the areas of business intelligence, data management, process documentation, change management and continuous improvement.
More specifically, the incumbent of this position will have to: Regarding the analysis and optimization of business processes:
- Analyze sector needs and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency;
- Map, document, standardize and optimize administrative and operational processes;
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification or elimination of low-value-added tasks;
- Perform impact analyses, assess operational risks and make recommendations.
Regarding the valuation and governance of data
- Analyze data from the IMS and other institutional systems;
- Develop management indicators, performance reports and dashboards to support decision-making;
- Ensure the quality, integrity, consistency and reliability of data used for administrative and decision-making purposes;
- Participate in the identification and implementation of practices promoting good data governance;
- Contribute to the improvement of reporting mechanisms and internal control.
Regarding the development of digital solutions
- Optimize the use of Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerAutomate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams and Forms;
- Develop automations, workflows and management tools to reduce manual interventions and improve process performance;
- Participate in the evaluation, testing, proof of concept and implementation of new technological solutions;
- Collaborate with concerned services to ensure the harmonious integration of solutions into existing systems and processes.
Regarding project management and continuous improvement
- Plan, coordinate and monitor continuous improvement or digital transformation projects;
- Develop work plans, identify required resources and ensure deadlines are met;
- Coordinate activities with partners;
- Measure the results obtained and monitor the post-implementation of deployed solutions;
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven management.
Regarding change management and knowledge transfer
- Accompany users in the implementation of new practices or technological solutions;
- Animate work, consultation or training workshops;
- Design training materials and user support tools;
- Ensure the communication of changes and promote their adoption;
- Structure, maintain and enrich the team's collaborative and documentary spaces, notably in SharePoint.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of specialization, including: administration, accounting, computer science, management information systems or related field.

- Have experience in the analysis, optimization and documentation of business processes;
- Have strong Excel expertise, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis tools to optimize processes, automate analyses and produce reliable reports and dashboards from payroll and financial data;
- Have experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Teams or other collaborative tools;
- Have skills in change management and facilitation of work groups;
- Demonstrate mastery of spoken and written French;
- Possess leadership and persuasion skills;
- Demonstrate an ability to mobilize, collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary team;
- Have a sense of rigor and organization;
- Demonstrate a results-oriented and customer service mindset;
- Have a continuous improvement mindset;
- Demonstrate an ability to coordinate multiple files simultaneously;

Assets
- Good understanding of regulations applicable to payroll and accounting, including withholding taxes, fiscal and legal obligations, regulatory reports and internal control practices;
- Experience with an integrated management software (IMS) in the areas of payroll, finance or human resources;
- Experience in business intelligence and decision-making dashboard design;
- Knowledge of SQL language and data extraction and analysis techniques;
- Recognized certification in a field related to information resources, data analysis, project management or continuous improvement;
- Member of the Order of Certified Professional Accountants (CPA);
- Knowledge of the college network or public sector.
