Riopel Partner Technological, a company operating in the field of IT services for business clients, offers its expertise in the support and optimization of their technological parks. Our interventions include technical support, IT project deployment, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, IP telephony, structured cabling, and the integration of digital solutions.
In order to fill a maternity leave replacement, we are actively looking for a versatile and meticulous person. This key role will consist of supporting the overall administrative management as well as participating in the organization's regular accounting operations.
Under this position, the accounting and administration assistant will provide support in invoicing, client and supplier account operations, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and monthly file closure. In parallel, the incumbent will take charge of the daily administrative management, ensuring smooth and warm communication with our business partners. The assistant will ensure complete, accurate, and well-organized files.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting and Ledger Maintenance
- Maintain ledgers and enter accounting transactions into the appropriate accounts;
- Record, validate, and file invoices and supporting documents;
- Participate in the processing of accounts payable and follow-ups with suppliers;
- Create and validate invoices related to recurring services;
- Verify and correct, if necessary, the internal notes of technicians before invoicing;
- Receive and apply client payments by check, bank transfer, or credit card, then produce and transmit monthly statements;
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and follow-up on credit card transactions;
- Prepare, extract, compile, and validate data required for end-of-month, internal reports, and Excel tracking files.
Administrative Support
- Answer calls, emails, and administrative requests from clients and suppliers;
- Ensure document classification, digitization, and organization;
- Participate in the management of supplies, routine purchases, and the organization of internal activities;
- Contribute to the creation and printing of documents, posters, or simple visuals;
- Participate monthly in inventory counts at Mont-Laurier and Mont-Tremblant, then enter the data;
- Perform any other related tasks to support the team's administrative and accounting needs.
- DESIRED PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Two (2) years of experience in a support accounting role;
- Good mastery of Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, an asset;
- Comfort in learning new computer tools, including ConnectWise and Dayforce PowerPay;
- Excellent mastery of spoken and written French; basic English for some exchanges with suppliers and software use.

WHAT WE OFFER
- One-year contract for a maternity leave replacement, with the possibility of permanence according to the company's growth;
- Daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, between 30 and 37.5 hours per week;
- Hourly rate between $27 and $33, depending on experience;
- Two (2) weeks of vacation;
- In-person position at the Saint-Jérôme office;
