Your Role
The Technical Advisor plays a central role within the service department. They support clients with their technical support, maintenance, and repair requests, while coordinating after-sales service activities. Through their product knowledge, organizational skills, and customer-focused approach, they contribute to providing an efficient, professional, and personalized customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding products, parts, warranties, and after-sales service.
- Welcome clients, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate work, repairs, or maintenance services.
- Open, manage, and track work orders in the system.
- Provide first-level technical support and advise clients on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Promote and sell maintenance services based on client needs, while providing attentive and personalized service.
- Schedule service calls and coordinate technician schedules to ensure effective execution of interventions.
- Process warranty claims and complaints and follow up with clients and manufacturers.
- Identify required parts, place orders with suppliers, and track deliveries.
- Keep client files and associated administrative documentation up to date.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quick and effective resolution of client requests.
- Contribute to providing a professional and efficient customer experience.
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.
Required Competencies and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in an after-sales service, customer service, or technical support role.
- Technical training or relevant experience in an industrial, mechanical, or electrical field to support clients and interpret their needs.
- Proficiency with computer tools and administrative file management.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in warranty management, parts ordering, or procurement (asset).
